Melbourne's newest Balboa social night! Co-hosted by John, Julia, Shob and Andy and bringing you a fun, relaxed opportunity to meet and dance with other bal lovers 🙂
This edition will include our first LIVE MUSIC NIGHT for bal dancers with the talented Jon Hunt Quartet!
Featuring an intermediate balboa class to get you inspired and then 2 hours of great social dancing...featuring some beautiful slow balboa tunes as well!

Enjoy a taster lesson with Shob and Andy before hearing the talented Andy Swann trio play some amazing blues songs.
Entry is free, and Lulie Tavern has a great kitchen and full bar, so enjoy a delicious meal before, during or after the show.

Tuesday nights
These classes are designed for dancers starting from scratch. They'll introduce the fundamentals of swing dancing, the basic shapes and some accessible moves you can use on the social dance floor. Each class will build up your swing dancing vocabulary so you can start creating and improvising with your partner.
Expect to have fun and meet loads of new people, while you explore becoming a grounded, versatile and expressive dancer.
We'll also share some of the amazing artists who have created jazz music and hope to inspire you to learn more about this rich, living culture.
