Enjoy a night of slow jazz and swing...catering for lindy hoppers, balboa dancers and blues dancers alike!
We will come together in the stunning I.AM.DANCE Studio in Fitzroy to dance slow lindy, slow balboa and blues.
8-11:00 pm: Social dancing to music from some of Melbourne's best DJs...bringing communities together to dance all the dances!

We are turning four years old and we would love to celebrate with our amazing Night Owls community! In our beautiful new venue at I.AM.DANCE we are so proud to present two of our favourites Jon Hunt and Georgia Brooks together...bringing you a night of incredible swing music!
And then we will end the night with a soul and blues set to bring the party home!

These classes are designed for dancers starting from scratch. They'll introduce the fundamentals of blues dancing, the basic shapes and some accessible moves you can use on the social dance floor. Each class will build up your blues vocabulary so you can start creating and improvising with your partner.
Expect to have fun and meet loads of new people, while you explore becoming a grounded, versatile and expressive dancer.
We'll also share some of the amazing artists who have created the blues and hope to inspire you to learn more about this rich, living culture.
